Prices
The fixed-seat license may only be installed on a single computer for use by a single person. Once the license is installed it can be moved to another computer by first deactivating the license, uninstalling the license, and the re-activating the license on a new computer.

A floating license can be installed on multiple computers in the same building, but can only run on one computer at a time. Users in different physical locations must purchase a separate licenses. If you wish to have multiple people use the program at the same time then additional licenses must be purchased.

The temporary fixed-seat license may only be installed on a single computer for use by a single person. Web Performance Load Tester™ can be rented for increments of 30 days. In all other respects, the license is identical to the permanent fixed-seat license. Temporary licenses come with premium email and phone support.

Once you purchase a Load Tester™ license, load up to the number of concurrent users specified by the license can be generated from outside your network using our Amazon EC2-based load engines. At the click of a button you can configure enough computers to generate hundreds of thousands of simulated users, all billed directly from your Amazon EC2 account.

The number of virtual users that can be generated from a single cloud-based load engine, and hence the additional cost of generating load from the cloud depends on the test case and test case configuration. The average capacity of a cloud engine is in the 800VU to 1500VU range.The numbers below are meant to give you an idea of the typical cost.

* The number of virtual users that can be generated externally is the same as can be generated internally on a particular license. For example, a 100VU license can generate 100 concurrent virtual users regardless of where those users originate.

We offer permanent fixed-seat, permanent floating, and temporary fixed-seat licenses for Web Performance Load Tester™. Please note that we also offer Web Performance Load Testing as a service - our engineers will run WPLT™ on your server and provide you with a detailed report, along with specific recommendations for your server configuration.

Owners of an existing license may purchase version and license type upgrades, as well as premium support, for all Web Performance, Inc. software.
